This back fire escape / deck really needed a facelift. The client wanted a quiet spot to read a book and spend time outside in the evening. When discussing the design options a Bali vocation some years ago came up and so we chose the southeast Asian touches for the space. Fluttering curtains are reminiscent of the tropical resort while hanging baskets with oversize foliage and orchids bring touches of the tropics to this tine garden.
